‘The CLOUT’ festival is from the age of 16 although they allow children from the age of 13 with the supervisor of a parent or a guardian CLOUT’s main target audience is 17-28 as CLOUT’s official sponsor but also official third party ticket holder ‘TIXY’ states that that’s the most popular age range to attend this festival. Therefore, CLOUT is very social media based as most of their promotion and marketing takes place on Instagram to reach that target group. Following comprehensive background research, I have identified the stakeholders that have been incorporated into this grid which outlines their motivations for being interested in CLOUT festival.
Please refer to the interest-influence grid below:

The website must be designed to be accessible to individuals with disabilities, conditions, or impairments, encompassing physical, cognitive, or sensory challenges. The main user of this website is expected to be in the group range of 17 to 28 years of age trying to meet all the needs and wants of the users. An accessibility statement will be provided with autofill fields and keyboard shortcuts.
The information architecture (IA) of the website and application will be structured to facilitate a user-friendly navigation order that supports those interest.
CLOUTs Festival’s website and app Hierarchal Task Analysis (HTA) , shown below:

The main thing that standout to me was that CLOUT uses a third party partner to sort out the tickets and this can have a negative effect on the download rate of the companion app CLOUT offers.
- There’s no information on what to bring to the festival on the official website or app.
- No search bar on the companion app.
- No accessibility section under the information segment.
- Many design foundation state that customer look for short and simple interactions and CLOUTS app in my opinion tray to combine to much in one section where they could spared out the steps with a simple operation for a user friendly navigation.
- No clear prompt when it come to buying the tickets.
Clout Festivals companion app breakdown :

Positive Intakes from existing companion app
- Large emphasise on the Map in this years version of the app as that’s what lacked last year like I said whilst defining UX and problem space.
- Big and clear Line up page.
- Easily navigable and therefore memorable.
- Interesting new feathers like merch
User Personas :

By creating diverse personas and user journey maps, further user requirements were uncovered aiding in the avoidance of self-referential design. To develop an effective website and companying apps, a user cantered design should be implemented. Furthermore, designers should also take into consideration the user experience and subsequently analyse the collected data to improve user interaction.
