Banner advertising plays a crucial role in enhancing online visibility for businesses fostering brand recognition and connecting with the appropriate audience. It serves to increase website traffic complement other marketing initiatives and is both cost effective and easily measurable. Through striking visuals and strategic placement banner advertisements capture attention reinforce brand messaging and enhance potential sales. This aligns well with my framework as Revia operates as a product/service business model making it essential to maximise product visibility to a broad audience. A critical aspect to consider is ensuring that the design elements are consistent with the mission and values of the business thereby maintaining sustainability while also cultivating relationships with customers, as the designs reflect the core values of Revia.

When designing a skyscraper banner, it is vital to highlight a clear message that communicates your core idea quickly as users often scroll through content at a rapid pace. Integrate engaging visuals that are appropriate for a narrow format and ensure that the colors and fonts of your branding and logo are easily recognisable for immediate identification. Including a prominent call-to-action is essential therefore, I centered the entire banner around the ‘Order Now’ prompt to guarantee that it captures everyone’s attention immediately. I positioned it centrally to maintain a balanced composition while also ensuring it is prominently displayed as the primary objective of a banner is to attract attention. An important aspect was to preserve text readability and simplicity utilising high contrast colors to emphasise key design elements ensuring the design is versatile across different devices.

When creating a mobile banner, it is crucial to ensure that the message is concise and immediately comprehensible given the limited screen space. Consequently, I designed this banner to promote a sale which may encourage customers to explore further. Additionally, since users tend to scroll rapidly the banner must be bold and easily visible at first glance. Therefore, I employ striking visuals and high contrast colors to capture attention while ensuring that the branding logo colors and fonts are instantly recognisable. Mobile banners should be lightweight to facilitate quick loading and adaptable to various screen sizes with essential elements strategically positioned so that viewers can grasp the message quickly. To achieve this I maintain a predominantly greenish tone making it visually appealing yet attention grabbing.

For a rectangular advertisement that can be placed almost anywhere I ensured to use of strong visuals and high contrast colors to capture attention within the limited space while also making certain that the branding logo colors and fonts are immediately recognisable. The layout should naturally direct the viewer’s gaze typically featuring the main subject which is centrally positioned with the ‘coming soon’ message ensuring that all viewers understand its intent. Although I initially considered incorporating a CAT into the visuals I ultimately decided against it as many advertisements of this nature are predominantly placed on white spacing and often overlooked by users on websites. Therefore, I made the sign the focal point ensuring that the advertisement remains visually appealing and effective despite its constrained dimensions.
